Fifteen Minutes of Fame
The ever popular Comanesti City Daze Festival is where I stake my claim
Fantastic food, delectable drinks and magical music abound
Thousands upon thousands gather in the middle of nature just to “get down”
Did I mention this festival is seen only once a year in this town?
Well,
The night is young, the vibe is sweet, the beer flows like wine
The air is crisp, the music is rich and everyone is having the best time
Obligated to entertain volunteers from all over the world, making sure they have fun
We share a few drinks, things get a little crazy and our night has only just begun
With all the songs we're singin and all the fun we're havin- it’s hard to ask for more
But little did we know, we’d be part of the show
We simply have no idea what’s in store
Invited on stage by the Mayor himself- oh what a nice guy
Our group attempts to help sing the final festival song before the fireworks take to the sky
When, much to my disbelief the mayor’s face turns in utter disgust
I start to move my dancing feet with the beat
And as I enter the front of the stage- as the mayor becomes so enraged
this is no story, do trust..
25,000 strong go absolutely wild, oh what a sight!
Everyone's screaming, laughing and cheering with such delight
Oh, I really can’t believe what I did that night
Now as I walk through the town, many people know me and everyone waves, saying "hi"
Hey! I know you, I’ve seen you, you’re that crazy ass dancing American guy..

Gorgeous Woman Asks for MY Number Today..
I mean, this woman was absolutely stunning. Our eyes meet, we exchange smiles and I grab a couple of her peppers. I hold them up and ask, "Cât Costă"(how much)? After making my purchase I proceeded to make my exit, kicking myself for not knowing more of the Romanian Language... I really wanted to talk to this lady. She stops me and proceeds to ramble on unintelligibly. She asks me if I know the language, I say no.
Her English is terrible.

Motorboat'n Kerala's Backwaters
Our final day in Munnar was spent riding motorcylces, over 100k, through secluded wildlife reserves, sandalwood forrests, remote villages and waterfalls- spotting several monkeys and wild elephants along the way.
We then hopped on a 6 hr bus/rollercoaster due south to the bustling town of Alleppey where we chartered our very own houseboat for the evening.. complete with deckhands and even a chef! We cruised this gorgeous area while throwing back a few Kingfisher Strongs and soaking up the sun. At some point, we are approached by a little old man in a canoe selling Tiger Prawns.. with our interest piqued- we decided to see what he had and since the were the LARGEST shrimp we've ever seen in our lives we bought a couple kilos. Shortly thereafter- we ate an amazing meal with this view..
India is incredible

Goan to the Beach!
After a 70 hour journey, and escaping apprehension in Dubai, I finally arrived half way across the world in Mumbai, India. Canceled flights, delays, long layovers were all on the docket. Every flight I had was either cancelled or delayed and I spent over 8 hrs on the tarmac at some point waiting for the fog to lift. However, I must admit that sleeping in the Delhi airport was the highlight (Derek, if you're reading this I know you must be cringing).
Anyways, Raj and I spent a day in Mumbai passing the time sightseeing.. we even got the chance to see the massive, terrorist-torn blemishes on the recently famous Taj Hotel. The following day we flew down south to the state of Goa- famous for it's gorgeous beaches, spectacular nightlife and friendly locals. Goa is far from the India I had previously experienced earlier this year.. this place is completely amazing! Beach parties, bonfires, drum circles, tasty cuisine, motorbikes, sun and sand have been keeping us thoroughly entertained for the past few days. New Years was incredible and I could not have asked for a better night!
As for now, we are off to the train station to shoot on down to Munnar, Kerala where we will be staying in a tree house for a few nights!
